What an amazing end to this saga in Cal's story. I loved that he was felled by an axe in the end, cal may have made peace with his inner beast but in the end the shape of Ardbert's and Cals soul is still an axe in the end specifically the bravaura, the axe who's soul they awakened

I like to imagine he called the reminder of cal's soul, dunno if it's canon or not but its fun to think of this moment like that. Got chills from how cool it was, despite how easy the following boss was

GOD what a cool moment here, especially since cal uses the same axe too and his first tank class was Warrior. Truly meant to be a big beefy tank in any world. I also imagine Esteem and Myste were there too, every part of his soul giving him the strength to continue

I love that my girl allie is the first to act here, shes always putting her money where her mouth is even if she's not always up to the level

There's a reason I stopped at level 3 of the ARR relic weapon, I dont think I could ever want any relic weapon especially since I dont even LIKE their designs for the most part. But Cal's first thought was "WHY ARENT YOU BALD????"

Just wow, these deliveries from Alisaie's actress were so good. Shes had my faveourite performances this entire expansion. You can really feel the emotion in her reads

This is the scene that made me cry, something I think Cal shared. He was bawling when he came out of this flashback, it finally *clicked* that what he was doing MEANT something and snapped him out of his funk hed been in this entire expansion

Its comforting in a way that some part of him knows exactly what hes going through, and even in another life hed be a hero, quite literally. One so similar that Cal was even contemplating the same thing the CE was gonna do. That is jumping into the rift and letting the light consume him

Even now I dont think Cal really GOT what it meant until he woke up from his coma, one that I HC was a lot longer than a few days, enough for his hair to grow and bleach near the ends
