The death penalty in the UK was not actually removed from the statute book until the 1998 Human Rights Act. Imprisoning someone for 32 years before execution is not justice, whatever one’s view on the appropriateness of the death penalty.

When my son was 3, he asked me why a man in a car had his music so loud and I told him it was because he had a very small willie. He is 27 in a few days and still repeats it!
