I should probably post again my theurgic incantation for heracles
I found this french comic that is one of the first modern takes on herakles that gets him; makes him more of a brute & waylays ways with magic & his friendliness with the goddesses but it got his affect. it turned Omphale into this lovely vignette that evokes Shamhat & Enkidu
