like the demographic transition model is pretty settled social science, and likewise that economic incentives do little to increase the number of people who have kids, outside of stuff that changes the proces of birth like artificial wombs i dont see that changing in the future

i think the problem with their argument is not "the population will decline" its "the population will decline and (implicitly) its the fault of the fags and women who won't sleep with me" and i think people will stop caring outside of them once they see its another nothingburger like overpopulation
