You know, there was a niggle at the back of my brain telling me it wasn't Brando's character that said it. But my experience of the movie was pretty much like yours, so I didn't have the will to check it.🙂

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Dorian's. I was more sanity checking my understanding of that article, rather than making comment on the government's position and performance on trans rights. Having said that, I'm Australian and even I'm dismayed by what this 'Labour' government is doing.

That's the way I read it as well. If May had of cleared the issue up back then we might not have ended up where we are.
