It's interesting watching people fully rely on their interpretations of a book to define their opinions and justify horrible things happening to other people, instead of using their ability of free will and critical thinking to come up with their own answers.

Huge fan of the composers with Fromsoftware. They did Nightreign good with this OST. Very bloodborne-esque, dark and epically treacherous.

Conservatives are now supposed to be against providing internet access and digital resources to rural communities, disadvantaged kids, disabled, and veterans in their own red states because "woke handouts" is catchy and helping Americans is bad.

Did a week long digital detox and given the amount of info overload and stress so many of us are under because of it I can’t recommend it enough. Scaling back does not mean checking out, the whole world still exists offline.

If your day has been difficult, or if you’re feeling anxious, here’s some Cornish medicine to ease your heart. It might not change things much but hopefully a moment of calm will help in a small way. May your evening be peaceful, my friends. 😊

Thursday boots after cleaning & conditioning.

The leather was soaking up road salt and wet snow. Needed to be cleaned and treated for waterproofing. This is the darkest the leather has been and looks beautiful. Routine care will make them last a long time.

I've been teaching Lavender to stand on my shoulders while I do stuff around the house. She now will jump from anywhere and climb up my back when I'm least expecting it. I have the claw marks to prove it.

Every social media account I've ever had has been followed by so many people local to me, and it makes me feel so self-conscious about what I put online. I don't want to transfer my following. I'd rather just put random things out there and see what sticks, even if nobody cares at all.

Sometimes I think to myself: Would I be scrolling on social media platforms if I had to go downstairs and sit at a desk computer to do it? I often find the answer is a firm no - but not for every platform. I still like community on the internet, I just need to tune which platforms I find them in.
