So, here's a thought.. if you want to stop people coming to the UK / Europe / America.. how about not going out of your way to make their countries a shit place to live. Stop supporting their corrupt governments and selling them arms, stop destroying their climate and reinstate aid.

This is yet another consequence of Starmer / Labour's shocking failure to communicate.
People complained about Alastair Campbell's stranglehold on messaging, but it worked. People knew what was happening. Labour weren't drowned out by a right wing media.

- Total net down by 2/3rds in 2025 (3/4 from peak)
- Small boat arrivals in 2026 down 40%. Asylum backlog down 48%; returns up 9%
- Asylum seekers in hotels down 35% (down 48% from peak)
YET PUBLIC PERCEPTION 49% think 2025 saw increase; only 16% know it fell

Ours is 1.4 and falling. That means fewer workers, more pensioners = economic trouble.
Solutions? Force women to have more children, or more immigration.
We need people.
