I will start this post with this- could be totally off base. As I was thinking of the expanded "looming crisis" potentially unfolding in the Middle East, I heard the these words. Cuban Missile Crisis. That happened in October of 1962 and lasted 13 days.

I just finished a book written by Louise Penny and Hilary Clinton. State Of Terror. It was a page turner! I had read Louise Penny's Three Pines Series-and Three Pines makes an appearance in this novel. I give it 5 stars.

1/? I was in Ontario to visit my mother who is in the hospital and she has dementia. My mother is straddling two worlds right now. My mother recognized me and was happy to see me each day and each day it was new for her. She doesn't remember my visit. I don't mind.

Life is a balancing act. It is in constant flux though sometimes it can be hard to see that when all is calm but boy when it starts to shift in bigger ways then hold on to your hats or not.
