starting my Winsor and Newton adventure. I always wanted to ink comics like professional newspaper comic artists for Sunday papers. I'm developing my technique using Watterson's sable brush, and tried to get into Prohias' headspace. I feel like inking as me (#4) looks better?

After receiving some art advice I was able to use it to really improve my paintings. I feel like it was finally brought to life thanks to the help! I feel like this is the first time something I've painted looks the way I wanted it to. It took 3-4 days. #mylittlepony #mlp #pinkiepie #art

♡April 2026♡ Extra special piece with a lot of joy channeled into it , a birthday gift for @shady-svs.bsky.social ! I must have whipped this up in about 2 hours/under. I tried to focus on line weight and simplicity in perspective yet effective for communication. I was surprised how nice it came out.

♡April 2026♡ The beautiful behind-the-scenes process of making art. This is a work in progress; I had to try strengthening my lineart skills first before inking this sucker. But I think I'll go ahead and do it sooner than later to compare how much I improved later on. #art #spyvsspy

♡April 2026♡ Kind of a lazy attempt to make some more characterizations for Black spy for my fanfic. I didn't feel like doing another self-taught art lesson so I drew freeform to see if all my hard work stuck and I could put less effort with improved outcome. I think it's paying off. #art #spyvsspy

♡April 2026♡ Here I tried sketching using the same brush I'd use to make lineart and tried to keep the sketch very clean. I found it helped my lineart significantly and I'm really proud of this one. Also used a reference to study gesture and line of action which still confuses me. #art #spyvsspy

♡April 1, 2026♡ My first sincere attempt at trying to mimic Prohias' lineart in SVS. I learned about the term "draftsmanship" just in April. I drew thick-and-thins without quite understanding where and when to use them. Learn: Line weight principles (e.g. lighting) & tapered stroke. #art #spyvsspy
