I voted yesterday in my town office. It’s quick and easy and you don’t have to worry about getting hit by a bus between now and November.

Bizarre things that happened in your assembly: our 5th grade (10-11 yr olds) sang a rousing rendition of “Afternoon Delight”. At 10, I knew something was up with that song. Was our music teacher sending a secret message to someone? We will never know.
Bizarre things that happened in your assembly: A neighbour of one of the teachers gave us a five-minute lecture about kwashiorkor which involved him reciting a list of his favourite words (yes, ‘kwashiorkor’ was one of them). Included the unforgettable phrase, “Diarrhoea, another beautiful word.”
Some dancers once came to our school once and did a routine to Uptown Girl in the middle of assembly. I've still no idea why.

Maine is ready for a new Senator. I’ve voted in every Maine election since 1990 and I truly think this is our best shot at getting rid of her. But if the DNC sends me one more email begging for money for every other senate race with no mention of Maine, I’m re-registering as unaffiliated.
The same old Susan Collins charade. As soon as a controversial nominee or a bill has enough votes to pass, she announces she will vote no when it doesn’t matter. She never casts a deciding vote against Trump. Now she will claim this shows how she is so “independent.”

Beshear should send in the State sheriff’s office to verify he is still alive. If he doesn’t see him appoint someone to fill the seat via the Kentucky State Constitution. Let the GOP challenge it in court.
