Iceland finds itself as a major political talking point on Sunday, after the electorate voted against EU membership.

It’s got a few right-wing figures feeling quite giddy… to the point where Nigel Farage may have accidentally said the quiet part out loud.

One of the kids in my son’s football team never registered to play because his family couldn’t afford it, so he’s not getting a medal with his name on it at prize giving next week like alll the other kids. Except he bloody is getting that because we’ve sorted his registration and bullied the club.

So Andrew Tate's defence is that he's not really good at the things he claims he's good at in order to grift off the vulnerably credulous?

World Pride newsletter seems to indicate that Londons bid to host World Pride in 2030 has been declined as the UK does not meet the requirements to host World Pride seeing as it is one of the worst places in the developed world to be a part of the community. Barcelona or Bangkok are the most likely.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Uruguay, with 3.5 million people, generates 98% of its electricity from renewable sources.
The architect of that transformation, Ramón Méndez Galain, put it simply: "The key is not technology; it is institutions. Once the rules are fair and predictable, the system builds itself."

Microsoft is laying off 4,800 workers today.

Its CEO made $96.5M in 2025, a 22% increase from the previous year.

Microsoft made $101B in net income last year — and raked in up to $12.5B in tax breaks from Trump's Big Ugly Bill.

This is what a rigged system looks like.
