Man i'm super borderline on how this remake looks. It's better visually than I expected in alot of ways but their commitment to trying to keep it similar to the original in other ways is pretty offputting.

Lot's of people discovering Speed Power Gunbike exists on the website recently which is great.
I reviewed it a little while back alongside a Time Boken shmup and a Fist of the Northstar beat em up which might also be the best looking PS1 game.

damn dude. didn't even get one game out the door. this makes me sad
Very disappointed by Steins;Gate REBOOT. The new pacing and changes to writing actively made the experience worse. Most importantly, the new route wasn't worth my time. It's just an adaptation of a decade old audio drama. As an old fan there's nothing here worth coming back for.

The 2XKO situation really fucks me up. Not for the game itself, but that even on bluesky people are so eager to find a bad guy to hang. The worst faith interpretations running rampant, for what? For Riot???

I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG.

It's really cool, I like it.
Have alot of problems with the input buffer though. Too many times I'm getting an autocombo when I'm trying to input a jump cancel. It's extremely annoying and it shouldn't work like that.

Watching Sparks of Tomorrow on netflix and I can't watch the ED on without it trying to obscure the screen with other shows i don't want to watch. Trying to select the "watch credits" option backs me out of the episode.

Steam Machine launching at $1000 dollars should really surprise no one who actually thought about it.
I remember hearing hype around it as a console killer and even prior to the rampocalypse that sounded absurd. But especially with the price of PC parts where they are now, this was inevitable.
