Very fun game. Maybe too many pieces in it, but the silliness of the whole thing makes up for it.

Last few specials have just been an opportunity for him to air his grievances. He doesn't write jokes anymore. He just complains in the rhythm of jokes.

The fun never existed, but we were sure it would last forever

It doesn't sound like anyone watches the show, which is a shame because my wife and I crack up so much during every single episode.

My best flights were in that row. I'm happy to sacrifice storage for the ability to stretch my legs. Even as a short person it's the dream.

Maybe he practiced by being in a lot of peril in the past, but this time was the moment of truth

This is exactly it. This whole shutdown has been a game of chicken, including this particular move.

That movie was played on one of the movie channels pretty frequently when I was a kid. My brother and I loved the gag about Wolfman's nards.

Shows how bad things are in Venezuela when Trump looks like a step in the right direction

Why was this picked up by an Irish news aggregator?

Could they just leave Detroit alone? It's a pretty boring place these days

If only we all could live the kind of life in which super expensive special editions of board games made sense to have. I don't even get my normal copy of the game out enough, despite absolutely loving it. This would be nothing more than an expensive (but very pretty) dust collector.

Make sure it's not a common human name, because then there are problems when your neighbors hear you.

Also, and this was a recent discovery by my wife, don't name the cat after something in your everyday life or career. It's hard after you lose the cat...

It's so cool. I just wish it were better, y'know?

At this point it's hard to believe he's too lazy. He's a grifter. He's dishonest about trying to be enlightening. His dishonesty is there to sell books telling certain people things they already want to hear -- and feel justified hearing it from a Black man instead of their usual white go-tos.

Oh no, Cracker Barrel is trying to expand its appeal and created a bad, generic logo! It's almost like they're the same as every other company out there...

To be fair, I was just excited to hear about a Transformers story I was unfamiliar with. Lazerbeak being the leader would be interesting because he's generally doing espionage, so he would be like a leader who is over everything because he's literally seen it all.

Agreed. Though the people now in charge of Paramount don't share those ideals.
August 17, 2025 at 8:27 PM
They're still making the show. We'll find out about the quality. But I think that's the only new show we're getting for the foreseeable future. Which means no Star Trek Legacy.
August 17, 2025 at 7:54 PM
I would hope it does. Unfortunately, the new head of Paramount has said that there will be a lesser emphasis of Star Trek on streaming and a greater one on theatrical. And wants to make sure we get the Kelvin Universe's Star Trek 4.

Oh? Which continuity was that? Sounds interesting. Like when Ratbat became leader in the Marvel comics.

What a superior web of adjectives you've got there
