Cold air is cast away, fumbling fog in it's wake.
wet slick mud, splattered boots and sloppy clothes;
The snow is half melted and I'm half baked
dough in the oven, the cawing of crows

comforting heralds of days still ahead
of sunshine and warmth and fresh baked bread

Tart twisting taste, the buds have sprung
life which these eyes gaze upon

wistfully- remorsefully

lamenting my ignoble ignorance,
pedestrian indifference
ruminations of a man
who hides behind feigned hollow haste

for which detachment clings to
