As this gets ugly, it’s important to remember that “immigration enforcement” COULD look like a public servant showing up unannounced at workplaces and fining EMPLOYERS for having undocumented workers. The problem would largely solve itself without law enforcement acting like the Gestapo…

Complete nonsense. The answer to the bottom question is that the guy on the top has been under-taxed, able to hoard wealth, and has plowed that wealth back into manipulating our politics. His whole class has done that for 40 years. Public dysfunction serves the people at the top, that’s the point.

Is anyone going to point out how unintentionally “mask off” it is for conservatives to be defending this transparent attempt to abuse workers as a “typical” “standard practice” in any workplace? All they’re really doing is telling the world they’re cretins who would be horrible to work for or with.
