Yeesh. Took a break from Bluesky and the internet at large for a few months only to come back and within days apparently commit unforgivable atrocities according to people who know nothing about me. Perhaps I'll just go offline again. Seems like it was better that way. Wishing you all the best ✌️

Apparently now is not the time to discover and like Omarchy, according to the internet? Lol.

Been a lot more offline lately. Just powered on my Garuda Linux desktop for the first time in a couple of months and was reminded of some weird issues I was having before shutdown. Took the opportunity to wipe OS and give Omarchy a try and oh my...this feels really good!

Today I realized that for ~20 years I've been saying the name of this location in Old School RuneScape incorrectly...

"BurthROpe" vs. "BurthORpe"

Huh.

Any #WinRM users out there on Linux/macOS that use #PowerShell. I've been busy trying to get the v3 release of my module ready to go but this is a massive shift from how it used to work. Would love to get some real world testing to identify issues before I release it. github.com/jborean93/PS...

Crazy concept to me. What a shame! I'm not even thinking about that. I just care if the content inside the book is interesting and well-written. I can't imagine living life caring about the gender of the person who wrote a book. That sounds exhausting.
As anyone in publishing will tell you, women do not resist reading books by men, but men will often dismiss books by women. This is not a publishing problem or a failure to target men. It's a misogyny problem.

It was 52°F in the high deserts of Nevada this morning during my morning bike ride and I couldn't agree more.

Though I realistically know deep down there are hot days aplenty remaining this summer 🫠
If I may be so brave. There’s a hint of fall in the air at 76 tonight

I started playing Grim Dawn (the base game) only recently and am thrilled with how good it is. It's taking me back to better times of gaming.

“googling” things on the “internet” isn’t *real* research, and you shouldn’t support ANYONE who uses technology to work more effectively

REAL research requires carrying a medieval torch inside of an ancient dusty library, going tome by tome til you find the esoteric knowledge which you seek

Regardless of whether you dip your fries in mayo, ketchup is the worst condiment/sauce for fries and I will not be taking any questions.
A reminder that in Belgium eating French fries with mayo is very common.
