Gloria Steinem was the palatable face of the movement -not really radical, but reasonable. I say this not just from reading her obit, but also from reading and hearing some of the rhetoric in the day. The worst were really like today's trolls; people with a lot of hatred; some for very good reasons.

Having moved from a country with a low minimum wage to a country with a high minimum wage, I've decided universal basic income makes more sense than having any minimum wage. Both countries have illegal workers, and employers trying to rip off workers.
