Woke up thinking about Dad’s WW2 trunk that came to live with me with Mom died. It has his HS football, war letters, drawings. He died when I was 19. My kids never knew him. Where does this stuff live when I die? Not a hoarder but the kids will still have so much junk attached to memories to pitch.

Delicious dinner at Red Maple last night followed by watching precious babies open and enjoy their presents. Xmas day will include more time with precious kids and grand babies, more delicious food, more presents. We are blessed.

I don’t recommend catching this “common cold virus” that is making the rounds. It’s the first “cold” that has knocked me on my a** for 4 weeks.

Why are simple recipes labeled “lazy”? Any food I put on the table requires effort, even take-out. “Lazy” is eating peanut butter from the jar for supper, but that even involved shopping for peanut butter.
