i like to make my mistakes the old fashioned way, in my writing-- The hand-crafted, artisanal way. Being wrong is one thing, but being lazy and wrong... well.
If you use consumer-facing LLMs, it's only a matter of time before you humiliate yourself by sharing some incorrect bullshit they generate as your actual thoughts.

A riff on ‘unanimous’: which comes from the Latin for ‘one mind’. ‘Unasinous’ means ‘one ass’.

Really proud of my friend Brendan Farrington for making his fight with United Health Care to get his prescribed cancer treatments public.

It shouldn't take this much for them to do the right thing.

Interesting new paper in The Economic Journal.
The study relies on machine learning to show that the political leanings of economists influence the language they use, but also the very estimates they produce in a way that aligns the policy being promoted with their partisan opinion.

Proof how bad AI and ChatGPT is. Arsenal played Southampton on 19/11/1994 and lost 0-1. Wimbledon played Newcastle that day. Arsenal have never lost 1-2 to Wimbledon. And Stewart Houston didn't take over until February 1995. So utter nonsense really.
ChatGPT reckons it was 94-95. I’m sure you’ll be able to check.
