Usually some special blend of ointments would have been used, however the best I could do was a lemon shampoo mixed with olive oil.

Then came time to remove the organs on Ferb.

Historically canopic jars are for the liver, lungs, stomach and intestines. For pumpkins this means each jar gets seeds and orange goo.

Phineas' family have decided that after a simple ceremony, he should be returned to earth whence he came. He will be left out, as is, to the elements and hungry squirrels.

Commoner Phineas on the left is bigger but still lighter than King Ferb.

OH NOES, Ordinary Phineas and King Ferb has passed away roughly about the the same time!

Not sure if they were picked the same day in the pumpkin patch but technically the moment they were taken off their vines was the time of death.

Gathering the materials. Stuff I am reading says that saw dust and pine resin will be needed.

But also Natron which is Hella expensive to cover a pie pumpkin, so we are gonna use baking soda and road salt instead.

My canopic jars have arrived! These are 1 1/2 inch reproductions of the old Happy Meal Buckets. Look, buying "real" canopic decor was expensive. Just pretend the Sons of Horus like to go trick or treating once in a while.

Here will be our Gourd Mortuary prep table, one that has seen death of untold number of plants already, since I am not a very good gardener.
Lookie-It has a drain! This will be needed to separate the moisture from the pumpkins.
