In the Netherlands WWII, kopgeld was the money paid by the Nazi occupiers to Dutch collaborators for betraying Jews in hiding.The reward began at 7.50 guilders (€75) and later rose to 40 guilders per person. This system led to the arrest and deportation of roughly 8,000 to 9,000 Jews.

There were more than 15,000 people on the dam in Amsterdam, Netherlands today to demonstrate against racism and fascism. In 2024 this was 2000 people and in 2023 a few hundred.
