Massive solar powered carbon farms in places like the Sahara could do it but we'd need the political will. 3-5% of global gdp on a project of this scale could do it over 50 years.

Seeing this just fills me with absolute despair at the climate situation. We are still at peak emissions. We haven't even begun decreasing emissions and even if we did, the warming that's baked from past emissions will last for centuries. We're cooked.

Campus rape is really widespread; statistics suggest a significant percent of women who go to college will be raped there; feminism opened up a good conversation about it around 2012-13; it's weird when people treated Cornell like an isolated rather than dramatic example of a pervasive problem.
