I have been tossing and turning since 4pm and it's damn near midnight. I have to be up in an hour and a half to drive ten hours after a 2 hour commute. This is unsafe; as much as I hate to do this I'm gonna have to call out. x.x

I really hope the whole 'art shouldn't be political' crowd are wallowing in their sorrow because this sentiment is why there is currently such a puritanical and Christian nationalist push in creative spaces; its why porn artists and writers (specifically lgbtq) are especially being targeted

After laying down for 3 hours trying to sleep, I realize that I haven't eaten anything since this morning and all I've had to drink today was two cups of coffee. It's no wonder I can't get to sleep. x.x

So I gotta be up at 1:30 tomorrow for a 4am to 8am shift... followed by a 2pm to 8 pm shift. I fully expect them to throw me into the same schedule the day after, because they can. If they do, I'll have to spend the night in my car just to get enough sleep. I will miss my cat but she'll get fed.
