Dr. José Celso Barbosa (1857–1921) was the first Puerto Rican to graduate from a U.S. medical school (University of Michigan, 1880). He developed early concepts of employer-sponsored health insurance, a radical idea at the time.

Lorri Ann in West Bloomfield used to pay no monthly premium on the Essential Plan.
