(I love a good thunderstorm, but as I plan a trip to the UK and suddenly have to check where there are wildfires, while Japan deals with unprecedented rain... Yeah, I'd rather not see thunderstorms here.)

This is our second (at least) thunderstorm here in North Van this year. In the past, there used to be a "chance", I'd get all excited, and then... nothing.
So, is this a fluke or new normal with our changing climate?
