𝐎𝐁𝐒: This bio is not 100% accurate at all duo of the lack of info Shinbei has. Soo most of his bio will be a mixture of his actual history alongside some FGO elements to it.

But as mentioned, this portrayal is independent. It will be based on how I see Shinbei as a character and his abilities too.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘𝗦: Deception. (He has no patience for lies or betrayal, reflecting his own straightforward nature);

Chaotic Fighting. (Despite his brutal efficiency, Shinbei dislikes senseless, unstructured combat)

───────✧ ❖

𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘𝗦: His Chest. (An eccentric fixation, both as a source of strength and pride);

Sincerity. (Shinbei respects directness and clear intentions, whether from comrades or his Master)

絆レベル1 | 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 1
"I am Tanaka Shinbei. If it's killing you want, I'm your man. What? My chest? You’ll learn its power soon enough."

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥: Shinbei treats his Master with the utmost respect, bordering on reverence. He is straightforward and direct, valuing clarity in commands. However, he may tease or playfully boast about his abilities, particularly his "chest," as a way to lighten the mood.

───────✧ ❖

His bond with his Master often determines whether he leans into his bloodthirsty nature or strives for redemption.

𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗧: Beneath his brash exterior lies a man haunted by his past. While he outwardly appears indifferent to the lives he’s taken, there are moments where his guilt surfaces, especially when he reflects on the chaos of the Bakumatsu era.

⇩

This trait often takes others by surprise, contrasting sharply with his otherwise ruthless demeanor. Despite this, his confidence isn’t misplaced—he knows his strength and is unapologetic about flaunting it.

𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘: Outside of battle, Shinbei’s eccentricity shines through. He has an almost comedic obsession with his chest, referring to its power with exaggerated seriousness.

⇩

𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗗: Shinbei is feral and bloodthirsty in battle, reveling in the carnage he creates. However, he fights with the pride of a warrior, ensuring his kills are clean, efficient, and worthy of his Jigen-ryu training.

𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗬: At his core, Shinbei is a man of profound loyalty. Historically, his unwavering dedication to Takechi Hanpeita shaped his life, and as a Servant, this loyalty now extends to his Master. To him, orders are absolute, and he carries them out with efficiency, no matter how grisly the task.
