Plus it would reduce air pollution. And walking means that you can suddenly stop and look at the squirrels and flowers and other stuff you would probably miss while driving.

I wish Iowa had a frequent (not just one way once a day) bus that went from city to city within Iowa. I live in Grinnell and don't have a car and it would be nice to be able to go to Iowa City or Des Moines from time to time.
