i think one of the biggest challenges facing the left wing is an unwillingness to engage in stuff thats not in an online debate setting where “hot takes” are super incentivized. like yeah objectively the US is responsible for 9/11, and yes the following war on terror and islamphobia in the country-

it feels like sometimes people have outrage on behalf of fictional characters and then tire themselves out by the time real injustice happens. yeah itd be kinda fucked up if i called somebody w a gap tooth “gappy” but for a fictional character who likely dgaf about it, i dont see why ppl r mad

tbf everytime i reinstall overwatch bc a character looks cool, i remember that my games will be filled with characters who are definitively not cool
