Why do you take no responsibility for that behavior turning off the voters it is now your job to retain?

Why do you not spend your time finding other people treating a vulnerable group like that and convincing them to fucking stop?

I looked at the electricity cost to charge an EV at my home and I’m guessing my next vehicle will be a hybrid, not an EV. I can’t imagine how high the cost would be for people who live in places that don’t cap rates like my utility does.

I haven’t seen that movie in 30 years and immediately knew what you were referencing.

Every time I hear of some Dem candidate calling for bans on gender-affirming care for minors, I immediately want them to lose because there’s no way someone that gullible should become a governor or senator.

One of my favorite pieces of lore is that they found the Unabomber by recognizing something he’d said in his published manifesto. “You can’t eat your cake and have it too.” His SIL recognized it because he’d always insisted that was the correct way.

He was right though. It was the right way.

Oh, that’s a good one. Perhaps a little coarse sand in there as well.

Reminds me of what the English did to Ireland and Scotland, or what the US and Canada did to American tribes. Trying to erase culture tends to backfire, and I hope it does for this administration too. Wherever they go, I hope one of their socks is a little too wet and they don’t know why.

That may be the fullest, most robust set of whiskers I’ve ever seen.

UT here, so maybe I really need to find a way to make meaningful space for it.

Do you like your freeze-dryer? I keep wanting to get one to maximize local produce (especially from our backyard garden) but it’s hard to justify the cost and space.

Tried and failed to overturn fair maps. Utah’s congressional districts are all new and feature one district that leans heavily Dem.

GOP Supermajority in the state legislature voted to pack the Utah supreme court, since it was the court that stopped them.

This was one of my pre-Covid panic purchases and I still haven’t run out. Super inexpensive and pretty much always available.

Utah has had mail-in voting as the default for more than a decade. As such, there are far fewer in-person polling places. That infrastructure doesn’t just pop out of nowhere.

I have/have had cats who really like the smell of my hair after using Arctic Fox dye.

‘I know you hate GenAI, but…’ followed by the most tortured logic ever, in my personal experience.

As horrible as it’s been to go through, it does feel a little like that scene in The Two Towers when Gandalf says “The Ents are going to wake up and find that they are strong.”

Good on you all for standing firm against the terrifying ridiculousness of this administration.

She could even just have sat in her moldering castle with her bigoted viewpoints and still been a beloved children’s author, but she had to be the center of attention. I’m convinced that her vocal anti-trans bigotry started as a desperate ploy to retain relevance and backfired.

When I was a kid, a girl in my town was hit by a car going ~45 mph. But because she was wearing a helmet, she was back to school a couple months later instead of dead.
