This shit is why you can't separate continuing to financially support the Harry Potter IP (whether by buying the games, merch, watching the new TV show when its out) from the consequences of what JK Rowling does with that money

Some semi-recent WIPs we have of scenes from Avarice's backstory! When it came out as a guy, it tried to give itself a shorter haircut for gender euphoria reasons and that, uh, didn't go so well lol

You don't actually NEED to have intent on improving your art, studying or being "good" at it. If it makes you happy to just draw your ocs on blank backgrounds then do it. Your art style will evolve naturally and you'll just latently pick up stuff along the way.
