同じ主催者の他のコンが、どうもコンがキャンセルになってもずっと返金されてないらしいですね…おそらく自転車操業というか、Aコンの参加費でAコンではなく、Bコンの準備するみたいな感じなのかな…と思ったり。
最終的にRDはバーミンガム開催になりました。おっしゃる通り、ちょっと治安良くなさそうなんですが、会場のホテルは街からは離れていて、空港の近くなので、何もないけど、逆に旅行者しかいなくて大丈夫と思いたい…

RD8は、会場のホテルも取れてなかったんですよね…（いつまでも会場が発表されず、今回、日程とともに都市すらも変わりました。取ろうとしていたホテルとは問題があったと言ってました）それもわりと大きかったのではないかと、個人的には思ってます。
一つ教訓があるとすれば！ホテルと飛行機は、多少高くてもキャンセルできるプランが安心！です！

RD8は、会場のホテルも取れてなかったんですよね…（いつまでも会場が発表されず、今回、日程とともに都市すらも変わりました。取ろうとしていたホテルとは問題があったと言ってました）それもわりと大きかったのではないかと、個人的には思ってます。
一つ教訓があるとすれば！ホテルと飛行機は、多少高くてもキャンセルできるプランが安心！です！

わからんです... 良くも悪くも、RD8は拘束力のある契約ができていなかったということでしょう…来ると言っていた俳優さんが別の仕事で来ないこともよくあるんです。ただ、主演俳優が来ないというのは、RDくらいの小さなコンにとっては大きなこと…今年は、マッツの出席できるタイミングに合わせて、2回日程を変えてきた経緯がありました。（そして今回が3回目）他の俳優さんは総入れ替えです。
そうなると、RDの日程の決め方か俳優さんへの依頼の仕方が、良くも悪くもそこそこ適当なのではないかと思うんですね…参加者にとっていいこともあれば悪いこともあって（前日にゲストが増えたりもするんです😂）、今回は悪く出たかな…

It's more likely that I'll be able to go than in December, since January 11 is a national holiday in Japan. I'll have to check with my boss, though.
And probably I won't be able to attend the whole event.
Is it worth a try?? I haven't decided yet...
