We were in DC for the 250th. It was 100 degrees and it rained for an hour and a half. The fly overs were cool but only Trump’s fireworks would miss the 4th. They started after midnight on the 5th. They were spectacular but why did they start so late making us all stand out in extreme weather?

I’m a fiscal conservative and a social progressive. It’s every bit as frustrating to conservatives when we Democrats elect Melat as it is for us Democrats when the Republicans elect someone like Victor Marx. When do we collectively learn that electing moderates is what will move us forward?

I say to my husband, “Rudy Giuliani is in the hospital. I hope he’s preparing to rot in hell”. My hubs says “Well, I wished that had happened before game 6” to which I said “Giuliani not Gobert”. He laughs and says “Yeah, I know you’re not a fan but that did seem a little extreme”. 😂

Does anyone remember the Portland series with the game that went to 4 OT’s? I watched that game in my closet, walked around the block afterwards, and then ate an entire bag of chips. I can’t take a Spurs playoff series.
