Apparently when rebarreling a PS90 as an SBR, that one spring that went flying off goes back on in between the new barrel nut and the receiver, not between the barrel and the identical hole at the other end of the receiver. Nearly made like Daffy hunting an errant 'roo.

(I got the night off work, because I have orientation for jury duty in the morning, so I'm being more active, but I'm simultaneously torn by the perverse incentive that now more than ever is no time to leave jury duty to people too dumb to get out of it,)

Some routes involve driving someplace, and waiting for someone with whom you'll trade trailers, and taking your lunch while you wait. When I was on that kind of route, I'd use a kettle while parked to make ramen or buldak.
They need to make a 12v sous vide adaptor.

Now that you say it, that’s obviously it. Still, “boiling water while driving” is, at best, a high-risk medium-reward idea

So...I'm about to be on jury duty for a session. And it has me in something of a state.
