We had the honor of meeting with @durbin.senate.gov today to advocate for special education legislation. We thanked him for his continued support of students with disabilities and his office's willingness to meet with @cecmembership.bsky.social each year at the Special Education Legislative Summit.

On our way to DC for the Special Education Legislative Summit with @cecmembership.bsky.social , our flight was repeatedly delayed. BUT, it gave us time to run into @duckworth.senate.gov
We are looking forward to meeting with her office on Tuesday to advocate for federal Special Education policy!

Spent my weekend in nature. Made s'mores with fresh marshmallows we harvested ourselves from the marshmallow tree. (Okay that part was a lie but the weather was perfect)
