#Orioles. Way to go Birds. There were a lot of heroes in this one. Reminded me of a few years back when they fought for every game. Proud of them. Next up - fans need to stop picking on Gunner.

#Orioles SMH watching GRod pitching and knowing the player we traded for him is already gone. I may be in the minority but I liked Ward. You can't score if you aren't on base so his walks mattered. I also feel like he mattered in the clubhouse.

#Orioles I hope you hang on to Ben McDonald for a long time. He has a way of keeping things in perspective and talking to fans. He does a better job of holding folks together than the front office.

#Orioles. So we trade Adley & catcher Rogers (that we just traded for) both to Boston for who? a catcher? Am I seeing this right? Batting .181 or something like that. Okay it's official. I can do the GM job better than Elias. I usually reserve that for just my family but I am putting it out there.

#Orioles I wonder why any of our guys will want to extend? We toss them out so easily. And for what? Prospects. That is all we do - add prospects. I have been an Orioles fan for over 50 years. This is poor management and poor leadership from the owners team.

Trade deadline always tests my willingness to give the benefit of the doubt. At some point we have to have veterans to mentor young players. We have to stop saying we want a home grown team when we trade them all away for prospects. I feel like this is going to be a tough day. #Orioles

My opinion. I don't think any teams play well at the trade deadline. Some just suck a little more than others. This weekend was our weekend to suck. Still love my #Orioles.

#Orioles. It is never easy but we kind of don't deserve to win this one. At least that is what I tell myself to make it slightly more palatable. How do you have bases loaded with no outs and not get someone home?

As an #Orioles fan of over 50 years, there is nothing more frustrating than #Orioles fans. Tired of people who love players when hitting home runs but throw away the team on the down side. Always been this way? Maybe. But not as vicious as what I see now. Keyboard courage. Pull for the damn team.

#Orioles. This was unfair to keep Rogers in. He pitched so well and needed to go out on a winning note to build confidence. They should have taken him out after 6 and ended it as a great night.

I wish a reporter would ask Trump if he thinks his life is more important than a child? If not, then why does he need a ballroom and children are unprotected in schools. If he says yes, then that speaks even more to his lack of character.

Anyway. I’m glad nobody was hurt and I’m sure the journalists who attended the WHCD will not center themselves and their personal experiences and instead remain focused on holding the powerful accountable and informing the people about their government.
