It’s all quiet on the Bert Horrobin front again, after a frantic 3 weeks following 15 years of silence. I’d rather listen to him than Carol Toboggan.

With all respect to the BBC, the reason this story "matters" is not about whether it distracts from Reform's conference. It "matters" because it is important our leaders are not conspiring to break the law.
