I worked at one of the biggest VFX companies for The Dark Knight. While Nolan was giving press interviews about how it was pretty much all practical effects, we had over 850 VFX shots that my colleagues were working on. Talking about his films not using CGI is part of Nolan’s brand.

Aww thank you! It was a fun afternoon!

I totally agree! Hoping I can do something to influence that.

Thank you!

There are many, many cool moments in the documentary ('Her Name Was Moviola') but my favourite is when the only way to watch their synced footage is on Stanley Kubrick's old machine, and you see Murch (3 Oscars) geek out a little bit. And later he goes back with Mike Leigh, and Leigh geeks out too.

95% sold now! Just 16 seats left to see Moviola editing on the big screen! 🎞️ ✂️

I just discovered this track by LCD Soundsystem, and the opening synth melody sounds really familiar - from an actual 80s synthpop song - but I can’t narrow it down. Everyone keeps saying it’s Love is a Stranger by Eurythmics or Manoeuvres by OMD but it’s not! youtu.be/V7QaGc2fmmE?...

Wow! That’s a beast of a car!

Slowly! Lots of pain and mostly stuck at home the whole time which is getting rather dull. But glad to have had the op still.

I don’t blame you! If I wasn’t on painkillers I’d have a drink too!

Is that a yellow one at the back? So pretty 😍

I just had some just by myself! Treat yourself and have some too! ☺️

Hello! 👋🏼 ☺️

I like that song ☺️
