On 2/1/2029 FlyBase funding will come from the Alliance grant. By then, www.alliancegenome.org will access all FlyBase data. NIH has had a long term plan for a common MOD web site. We are formulating a comprehensive plan to transition FlyBase data to the Alliance.

Is there more to defining the eve stripes in the Drosophila embryo than just transcriptional regulation? We provide evidence that spatially regulated mRNA decay is also important.
