There is a soil planning conflict with the new grey belt rules. If land is 3a it is best most versatile land and should be preserved and 3b it can be grey belt. The apparent difference is soil structure and yield, below is 3a crops grown on 3b land, now subject of planning application appeal 🤷♂️
