It's been a rough couple of days, but things are finally getting back to normal. I've been able to write a bit tonight, too - 995 words, and that finishes another chapter of New Beginnings.
Just one chapter to go, and the epilogue, and that's it!
The new chapter will be up on Sunday, as usual.🙂

Didn't get any writing done today, but I *did* dig up the whumptober prompts I found earlier in the year. It might be nice to write a few short fics for that... 👀

2 more chapters and an epilogue to go, and New Beginnings will be finished. I feel like I've come a long way with it, but I'm glad I made so many notes! They've definitely helped.

It's not been a great day (understatement), but I was able to get some writing done. That's an achievement, and I'm learning to count my blessings.

Okay! 520 words written, and I managed to finish another chapter, too! I'm quite happy with that, but the flow didn't quite feel right so I'll be looking closely at it later on.
I think I'll take the weekend off to recharge, and get back to writing on Monday.

I had an idea for a side story to New Beginnings while I was shopping earlier, and I've only just remembered about it. It would feature Phenn, and take place shortly after NB ends.
All I have right now is that Phenn would have a dog and go jogging before his shifts in the Tavern, no real plot yet.

I'm also dealing with low confidence again so hopefully that'll pick up soon. I can't wait to throw myself into my writing again tonight, too...

I'm really glad we're getting Erhardt in Octopath CotC (well, the JP version is, but GL will eventually), and another EX for Primrose...
Still, why not EX Olberic, Alfyn, or Therion? (Or Theo, Gilderoy or Scarecrow, for that matter?) Let the guys have their EX versions too!
