Our society focuses on the rich and famous. Kardashians, Housewives of Wherever, all the celebrity gossip shows and podcasts. It’s a media distraction and it absolutely works as intended. I don’t fault anyone for living, I do fault the machine that says some people are worthy of attention.

Laws only matter when they’re enforced. Until he suffers legal consequences, nothing matters— he’s free to continue to do this, because there are no penalties.

I disagree on Ukraine. That was money well spent, to limit Putin’s global power. But helping Israel continue to kill civilians or to launch the ego-driven conflict in Iran, those are wasted opportunities to help Americans.

It’s telling that they’re sure more assassination attempts will take place, enough that violence is the first response to any perceived threat. Unfortunately, if you want to see a threat, you will always find one. (EG Comey’s seashells)
