Good morning! It’s a perfect day to realize that the politics you’re used to are gone and never coming back so you can either think about what you want the future to look like and try to build toward that or keep trying to wishcast the country back to 1998 and be part of the problem.

🤔 let’s think about how we got here. 2x impeached, R’s wouldn’t convict, perfect opp to abandon him when he sat on his ass for 3 hrs while Capitol was attacked, no follow thru, lost fair election still supported him, made him ‘24 candidate. Beyond co-dependent. Self serving is an epidemic in the GOP

Goldman: "Think about whether any of us want to vote a certain way but bc we fear for our personal safety, we decide to vote differently. We are no longer representing our constituents. We are representing something else more like the bully threatening us. That is more like Vladimir Putin operates"

When I tell students about the realities of pre-New Deal industrial life — where it was so commonplace for workers to die on the job that a Pittsburgh newspaper once celebrated that “only” 127 had died the previous month — they can’t believe it.

That’s the world Trump wants us to return to

WATCH: Project 2025 warned against using apps like SIGNAL to conduct official business👇🏽

Translation: They knew it was illegal and did it anyway - to keep it hidden from records requests.

SIGNAL itself is an underdiscussed part of this scandal. #HegsethGate #WaltzGate

Trump is going to create chaos for borrowers & students by breaking government like an angry toddler.

This is a clear violation of education & appropriations law. To say nothing of his plans to cut SBA staff by over 40% while asking them to now manage ALL federal student loans.
Trump announces that the Small Business Administration will immediately handle all federal student loans, and RFK Jr is now in charge of "handling special needs and all of the nutrition programs and everything else."

Seeing folks on the other site claim that Alien Enemy Act removals are not reviewable by courts.

The statute explicitly requires "a full examination and hearing," and there are literally *dozens* of reported cases from the War of 1812, World War I, and World War II:
