With data on nearly USD 3.9tn from around 2,000 organisations, IATI can help provide the data foundations for AI-powered development systems.

As the proposals move forward, the IATI Secretariat looks forward to continuing to work with the MAPME community and IATI members to test, refine and implement practical improvements to project location data.

The Working Group included representatives from KfW, the World Bank Group, IFAD, WFP, ADB, IDB, AfDB, AFD, OCHA and the IATI Secretariat.

All across the constituency welcomed the proposed dashboard and its user-centred approach, recognising its potential to support publishers with practical, evidence-based feedback while helping build greater trust and confidence in IATI data.

Mark Brough presented proposals for a new IATI Data Quality Dashboard. They are designed to provide publishers with real-time feedback, clearer priorities for improving data quality, and a more user-centred approach based on 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

Opening the session, IATI Executive Director Yemesrach Workie highlighted the vital role that civil society organisations and NGOs play in strengthening transparency and contributing to a more complete picture of development and humanitarian finance.

Today's workshop session's highlighted the strong alignment between the Saudi Fund for Development's digital transformation agenda under Saudi Vision 2030 and IATI's Strategic Plan 2026–2030.
