I had only ever drawn comics in the traditional Japanese page format before, but after trying a vertical-scroll format—basically a webtoon format—I feel like it suits me really well.

Just a personal thought on AI and accessibility.
Image 1 of 4. A personal statement about AI and accessibility. Text: Many people dislike AI, but I hope they will not ignore the ways in which AI also supports people's lives. For example, some people with cognitive disabilities, like me, have been assessed as needing external support in order to manage daily life. But in order to access that support, you have to find the relevant services yourself, find people who can support you, go through the necessary procedures, and explain your situation to others. I struggle with my mental health throughout much of the year, and even going outside or meeting people can be a significant burden for me. It was also difficult for me to put into words what I was struggling with and explain it to someone else. In other words, I needed support, but the very actions required to reach that support were difficult for me. So for a long time, I ultimately had no choice but to try to manage everything on my own. Image 2 of 4. Continued text: But when AI became available, that began to change a little. Through conversations with AI, I became able to put into words feelings of distress and thoughts that I had previously struggled to explain. When I have difficulty understanding what someone is trying to say, AI can break the text down for me or help organize the main points, which makes it easier for me to understand than before. AI is not thinking for me. It is helping me think and understand things for myself. Because of that, I have finally been able to move closer to the starting line that many other people seem to stand at as a matter of course: being able to understand things, think about them, and communicate my own intentions. For people who can do these things without support, AI may seem unnecessary. In some cases, perhaps the harmful aspects of AI are simply much more visible to them. Image 3 of 4. Continued text: Of course, AI has problems. When it is misused, it can be used to deceive people, violate other people's rights, and cause serious harm. There are also issues involving training data, labor, environmental impact, bias, and the concentration of power in corporations—problems that cannot be explained solely by how individual users choose to use AI. So I am not saying that there is nothing wrong with AI. I simply think that the risks AI poses and the fact that some people are helped by it can both be true at the same time. Cars have made people's lives far more convenient by transporting people and goods, while at the same time causing injuries through accidents and placing burdens on the environment. The internet has connected people and greatly expanded access to information, while also being used for scams, surveillance, and the theft of personal information. A technology can be useful and dangerous at the same time. Image 4 of 4. Final part of the statement: So I hope people can distinguish between criticizing the problems caused by AI and treating AI itself as something that is nothing but harmful. When people talk about AI as if it were "nothing but harmful," I feel that uses like these are being overlooked. I am not trying to deny or dismiss people's dislike of AI. I think people have their own reasons for feeling that way, and there are also ways of using AI that I personally cannot support. But there are people who, because of AI, have been able to put their own thoughts into words for the first time. There are people who can understand what others are saying more easily than they could before. And there are people who have been able to move a little closer to information and support that had previously been out of reach. When criticizing AI, I hope people will not erase those people from the conversation as well. I hope people will think not only about what problems AI has, but also about what AI has made possible for some people.

I misunderstood German masculine, feminine, and neuter nouns and thought you used them differently depending on the speaker’s gender.

So I was like, “Well, I’m nonbinary, so I guess I’ll use neuter nouns.” lol
