(1/2) Knitters of blue sky, I need your help. I'm utterly lost on figuring out the gauge for my first sweater (I've been knitting for years but I could always fudge gauge a little with past projects) so I tried a swatch with us6 4mm and got 20 st & 26 rows. Needed 20 x30... #knittersofbluesky #knit

20 years of knitting, I'm finally going to try to make a sweater.
I've done magic loop, Italian cast ons, cable work etc on gloves, scarves, hats & more, so on paper I should have this. And yet this is the most terrified I've been of a knitting project in years. 😬🤞 #knitlife #tricot #knitting

Watched 9-5 last night to say bye to Dolly. Omg that movie holds up, a bit too well. Workplace sexual harassment, old boys club, low pay, unequal pay, lack of flexible hours, no daycare, overbearing office rules, office narcs, favoritism, embezzlement, hell even half the clothes are back! #ripdolly

Watched the new he-man movie and I got to say it was one of the strangest reactions I have had to a film in a while. I honestly have no idea if I liked it or not? I didn't hate it. But I also felt uninvolved. Like the plot felt like they were checking off a list...(1/3) #heman #mastersoftheuniverse

To say yesterday was a lot would be a gross misuse of the word a lot. Just so glad that weekend is here so we can all take a breath and reorganize and start anew Monday. Right now I'd just like my head to stop aching. We'll start there.
Love the beautiful parks my state has. Also I'm highly amused that less than a month after chip fracturing my toe, I managed to tweak my other ankle jumping a ditch like I'm 20🤦 oh well at least kiddo got a book from the tiny Library. It's ice, Advil, and elevation for me tonight. 😆 #hikingfun

This. I have had so many elder relatives tell me this shit over the years. "If you aren't doing anything wrong, what's the problem?" They say it with a smirk as if they scored some amazing point. Day 6 of having a stye in BOTH friggen eyes. Since COVID my eyes have been super sensitive to face masks (still do it, this isn't that) & with the wildfire smoke I wore my masks again & decided to clean the office - I'm allergic to dust mites. So here we are. Takes forever to go away (2 week min).

Day 6 of having a stye in BOTH friggen eyes. Since COVID my eyes have been super sensitive to face masks (still do it, this isn't that) & with the wildfire smoke I wore my masks again & decided to clean the office - I'm allergic to dust mites. So here we are. Takes forever to go away (2 week min).

My parents are silent gen and they and my aunts and uncles were all first in line for COVID shots. They remember kids being in their class then just weren't because of polio or whatever. Mom's BFF has had heart complications as an adult due to some now preventable childhood disease. Get.your.shots.
