Mig-29 finished. Really pleased how it turned out. The effort with aftermarket decals was well worth, since I couldnt find any kit that had slovak air force markings included and i really wanted to have kit of these beauties who guarded our skies 🇸🇰

Why did i do this to myself.
I know ships are pain. So why did i print this 1:700 IJN Shimakaze kit???
anyhow, guess i see if my patience and skill prevail. Rn im working on making wooden parts of deck look like there are planks of subtly different colors

Progress on the gripen. Turns out i made the blue-ish grey tad too dark so the roundels are blending in a bit.
Good thing the tail art is so eye catching 🙃

Dipped into 3D printed kits again and chose Eagle-1 by Nakozen from printables. A jet from @helldivers2.bsky.social, a game i enjoy returning to.
Took it for a spin, glued, painted, mottled, and decaled (using spares). And the result is quite nice, yes?

Bit of a break but now transfers had been added on mig-29.
Aftermarket set was from Kora details, even though they look okay now, i wont get them again.
Had to cut along the edges of decal to make the film managable
Also setting solution made one decal "crack"

Double-seat Gripen from Italeri is also on bench. It was fine build, no problems surfaced so far.
Varnished it and also Mig with airbrush for the first time succesfully. Until now I used to varnish with handbrush.
Decal time <3

Prepared cockpit for my next project that I'll work on alongside the Mig.

Its shaping up to be beauty. Mig-29 my beloved 🥰
I will need to weight it a bit more. Taped the weighted nose to it to test where is center of gravity and it might need some more weight

Yesterday I also finished this monster of a plane. No clue why i thought SU-47 would be about as big as Mig-29.
Its bigger than Mig-31 >.< RIP my shelf space.
Also since it is rather big, i had quite a struggle trying to make photos of reasonable quality

L-29 Delfín. A jet trainer that won comparative trials of Warsaw Pact countries against soviet Jak-30 and polish TS-11 Iskra.
After, it was selected to become standard jet trainer for the air forces of Warsaw pact.
Manufactured by Czechoslovak aviation manufacturer Aero Vodochody.

Dolphin main colors and transfers are done. There were some mistakes of mine but so far its pleasant kit to build.
(L-29 Delfín in 1/72 from Eduard - Slovak International fighter pilots academy)
Considering getting KP version, for other slovak scheme 🇸🇰

Main colors on L-29 mostly done. I almost undone all my progress with poorly thinned fuselage color, but it worked in the end.
Also a new kit entered my bench, to give me something simpler to work on.

Tape peeled off, here you can see white and blue areas nicely. Today ill tape them over and focus on red areas.

Update on progress. White went on reasonably well (acrylic colors from Atom are really good). And now masked some more and did blue areas.
Next one will be red areas and then fuselage second coat with light ghost grey + black anti-glare nose area

Cockpit done. Sanity barely preserved😅
Will attempt to weight the nose down a bit more. Right now its 3 lead 4,5mm pellets.

And wrapping up the Aeromacchi MB-339AM in Malaysian service (in 1/72 from Kovozávody Prostějov).
Even tho the kit wasnt the most polished and snug fitting, I dare say it did end up as a nice addition to my growing collection of jet trainers. 🫡
