The capability overhang from the models we have today (and that are coming soon) are large enough that large-scale change to work and society over the next 5+ years is now inevitable even if AI development stops.

We should spend more time thinking about mitigating the bad & encouraging the good.

I already see people adopting the speech and thought patterns of AI IRL and it drives me up the wall with cringe
