Jon is absolutely right about this!

B of A is planning to force its customers into mandatory arbitration, a rigged system that would make it a lot easier for the Bank to break the law and get away with it.

But people can avoid this, and opt out, and they SHOULD.
If you have a Bank of America account, do this. Call Bank of America at 800.283.8875, enter the last 4 digits of your SSN, listen to their recorded spiel, & say "Yes" to opt out of their unfair mandatory arbitration agreement that bars you from joining any lawsuit or class action against the bank.

The Senate has just voted 52-48 to overturn a CFPB rule capping most overdraft fees at $5, allowing big banks to continue to gouge consumers for billions each year.

This is a betrayal to consumers everywhere, particularly servicemembers, seniors, rural Americans, and other vulnerable groups.
