this is why research needs to be embedded in practice. The cross overs in ADHD and psychopathy traits is continually muddying the waters in research results. The data needed by researchers is qualitative and they keep looking for quants.

No, it can't be predicted. This is hindsight viewing of common factors. There is no way to predict homicide of any variety. There are risk factors, but they only have ~65% predictive validity.

I think this is the same everywhere, taxpayers don't like to think about/see their money going to 'crooks' instead of health and education. And/or govts don't like to think their country really has that much disorder from their ivory towers

it's fairly simple...people with poor mental health also have poor levels of employment, therefore they can't afford anything but community health. Also, their level of need is greater than 10 subsidised sessions per year (although they could have one a week with a psychiatrist??).
