Another great week at the Climate and Cryosphere Open Science Conference in Wellington. Enjoyed facilitating the Paleoclimate sessions with three other ECRs & got some useful feedback on our work reconstructing oceanographic conditions in the Ross Sea during Pleistocene interglacials 🇦🇶 #NSFFunded

A great week in Wellington at the International Sedimentological Congress where I presented my Miocene record of bottom water changes at ODP Site 1123. I enjoyed learning about all of the research being done using sediments from around Aotearoa and connecting with researchers from NZ and overseas.

I presented our record of ocean and ice sheet history in the Ross Sea at the 2025 West Antarctic Ice Sheet Workshop held in Coupeville, Washington last week. Loved connecting with researchers from different disciplines including glaciology, oceanography, modeling, and paleoclimate #NSFfunded

Got to crack open some beautiful Antarctic drill cores at Oregon State University’s Marine Geology Repository last week. We will using biomarkers to reconstruct past climate and ice sheet conditions during the Pliocene and Pleistocene 🇦🇶🌡️
